Hitman (2016)

There are a lot of genres this show has yet to tap and it's honestly a crime that it took us this long to do a stealth game. But boy, we're gonna go ahead and come out strong with IO Interactive's 2016 revival of the Hitman series, the kick off of the World of Assassination trilogy that you can acquire ALL of now as part of a Hitman 3 super collection. But today we aren't talking about all of that extra stuff. JUST Hitman 1.

Journey to Silius (1990)

We're returning to the NES for the first time since our flagship episode about a significantly more well known game. Journey to Silius is a game famous amongst a certain generation but it's memory has been lost to time for many. So, can this game stand up to the resurrection? Or will we have to hire a machine to go back in time and kill it before it was ever made? That's a Terminator joke.

Elden Ring is the game everyone is talking about and we want to feel included! The structure of this show prevents us from probably doing an episode on this game for many months because we would like to have both actually played it, but we didn't want that to stop us from getting to ignorantly yell about it.

Katamari Damacy (2004)

It's been all peaks and valleys this last month over here on OGA, and we round it off with top billing: Katamari Damacy. This is a deeply original game that checks every box. Level Design, atmosphere, humor, music. It's all rolled up in there and the mass is quickly breaking beyond the scope of the list. This game is the barometer by which we establish friendships, folks.

Killer Instinct (1994)

It's our first venture into a proper fighting game and we lead with a tragic story from Matt's past. It's the genesis of Matt's anger towards video games and the game that turned him off of fighting games. Will nostalgia redeem this derivative classic?

Forza Horizon 5 (2021)

CARS. We're big gear heads over here, just like our dads and their dad's before them. Love them cars. Or at least I love it when I have near infinite cars available to me via Wheel of Fortune style prizes and when driving those cars around recklessly awards me a limitless amount of points. Car games rule and this is an especially good one. I just wish it was more like a dad that wanted me to learn about cars.

Jet Set Radio (2000)

Video games are finally cool. We now live in a time where everyone knows graffiti is art, but in 2000, society was still up in the air. The jury is still out on whether roller blading is cool, but I contend that this is just another way Jet Set Radio is well ahead of the curve. This game is cool, cops are rubes, and SEGA is the best video game company. No further questions.

Sonic Adventure (1998)

The beloved franchise crashes hard. This is a game we were not excited to play, and it continued to disappoint. We're racing to the bottom with 1998's Dreamcast classic Sonic Adventure. Horrible animations, clunky level design, and mind blowing and spectacular music. This one wants to fly high...
