Sonic the Hedgehog (1991)

Sega was doing just fine as a company, but a bunch of executives met in a board room one day and said "Gimme one of them Marios." The mascot race was on, and their answer was...a blue hedgehog that runs very fast. It's hard to understand how anything gets made, but this is definitely up there on the list. Please enjoy our dissection of the birth of Sonic.
